Institutional Sales Department caters to the overseas institutional clients interested in the Turkish capital markets by offering a full range of trading services. Our client portfolio consists of 130 institutional investors who manage 20% of emerging markets funds totaling approximately $1,000bn.

The Research Department has extensive market knowledge through its equity research coverage, and offers advice and opinions on all of the ISE-listed companies with a sizeable market cap and high liquidity.

The Corporate Finance Department, with its qualified staff, provides consultancy to local and foreign companies for public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, as well as buyer and seller consultations for privatization projects.

Corportate Finance department has successfully advised:

the Privatization Administration of Turkey in the block sale of petrochemicals producer Petkim. The highest bid was USD 2 billion for 51% of the company, corresponding to a significant 50% premium to its market value.

Yeşil İnşaat in finding a partner for Modernist, a large residential real estate development project. Yeşil İnşaat partnered with Salamanca Capital with equal stake.

Toprak Seniteri in finding a revenue sharing partner for their project. The Land was sold for USD 0.4 billion to Emaar.

Ak Investment is organizing "Turkey 2008 Investor Conference" in 5 – 6 June 2008

Ak Investment is hosting 23 leading institutional international fund management companies in Istanbul

The "Turkey 2008 Investor Conference" will include the participation of twenty four ISE-listed companies and representatives of 23 major international institutional fund management companies. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is scheduled to deliver the closing statement

As a top player in the Turkish Capital Markets, Ak Investment is taking another step towards contributing to the growth of Turkish capital markets. The "Turkey 2008 Investor Conference", Ak Investment's second such conference, will be held on 5 – 6 June 2008 with the aim of bringing together ISE-listed companies and foreign investors. It will take place at Istanbul's Conrad Hotel. Top management from 24 ISE-listed companies and fund managers from 23 institutional fund management companies shall participate.

Ak Investment shall host fund managers and bring them together with the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and relevant ministers. Investment opportunities in Turkey will be discussed with fund managers that come from America, Europe and the Middle East.

Ak Investment's CEO Ziya Akkurt stated that Ak Investment has been acting like a bridge in directing investments to Turkey thanks to its strong capital structure, research support and strong relations that it has established with Turkish companies. Stating that the Turkey 2008 Investor Conference is an important step towards bringing together foreign funds and Turkish companies, Akkurt said that "Foreign funds and Turkish companies will be able to exchange information and build up relations as 250 meetings are conducted within a period of 2 days. Furthermore, fund managers shall be given the opportunity to communicate directly with the Prime Minister. This will be a great occasion for fund managers investing in Turkish companies. From this perspective this conference is of great importance considering its contributions to foreign investors and the Turkish Capital Markets."

Ak Investment's Foreign Institutional Sale Department Manager Attila Penbeci declared that the conference, which was held for the first time in the previous year, was greeted with enthusiasm by the investors. He said that the participation rate was higher this year, a sign that the interest in Turkey hasn't decreased despite global and domestic-based problems. In fact, assuming that the investment environment in 2009 will be more favorable we can also look forward to a "Turkey 2009 Investor Conference".

Ak Investment brings together ISE Companies and foreign funds in Istanbul A leading player in the Turkish Capital Markets, Ak Investment shall bring together local and foreign investors in Istanbul with its “Turkey 2007 Investor Conference” and “Turkey Real Estate Investment Summit” that it will organize in January 2007.

Organized by Ak Investment, 20 ISE-listed companies and 20 foreign funds shall participate in the “Turkey 2007 Investor Conference” taking place in Istanbul on 25 – 26 January 2007. Turkish companies and foreign funds will be holding meetings, while simultaneously the “Turkey Real Estate Investment Summit” takes place. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will also participate and is expected to draw a great deal of attention.

Ak Investment General Manager Berrin Önder emphasized that the main target of organizing the Conference and the Summit was to contribute to the growth of the Turkish capital markets. She points out to the fact that Ak Investment is acting like a bridge in directing the foreign investors' investments to Turkey thanks to its strong capital structure, widespread branch network and quality product - service variety. Önder thinks that the 'Turkey 2007 Investor Conference' is a crucial event bringing together foreign funds and Turkish companies and letting them exchange their information. Moreover, relations between Turkish companies and foreign funds shall be reinforced and this shall be reflected on our markets positively.

Berrin Önder said that their aim in organizing the “Turkey Real Estate Investment Summit” is to present investment opportunities in Turkey and mediate the groups that have investments or plan to have investments in Turkey to make new real estate investments. The “Turkey Real Estate Investment Summit” shall start with presentations of real estate companies and a city tour covering the important real estate investment fields of Istanbul, and it shall continue with panels related to residential and commercial real estate investments.
